Museum Reads: An Art Themed Book Group

Curl up with this month's book selection and then join in the conversation.

January 21, 2021 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Virtually on Zoom

Murder at Kingscote (A Gilded Newport Mystery), by Alyssa Maxwell

Welcome to Museum Reads, the Newport Art Museum’s Art-Themed book group for adults. It’s the same beloved Read/Eat/Chat book group format, with a fresh name. Join us!

In the late 19th century, Newport, RI is home to
some of America’s wealthiest citizens. It’s also the beat of society reporter Emma Cross, a less well-heeled cousin to the illustrious Vanderbilts, who occasionally moonlights in solving murders. This is a fictional mystery with a good amount of historical detail, showcasing the newest form of transportation as the newest type of weapon.

We are pleased to announce that Author Alyssa Maxwell will join our conversation.

This month’s Museum Reads will be delivered virtually on Zoom. Link will be sent directly to registrants, so be sure to register in advance!
