K-12 Educator Workshop
September 10, 2020 5:00 pm
Join Museum Education staff for an engaging, virtual, educator workshop. Hone object-based learning skills designed to enable you to confidently incorporate visual arts content in your curriculum, whether you are teaching remotely, in the classroom, or have chosen to homeschool. Aligned with Common Core State Standards, learning to “read” visual information is imperative in an image saturated world, and builds key critical thinking skills. This workshop is dialogue driven and will feature artworks appropriate for elementary, middle and high school students. Engage with peers, enhance your practice, sample activities, and be the first to tour the Museum’s brand new online resources.
It’s time for a little inspiration!
FREE! Registration required.
Workshop will be delivered live on ZOOM. Link will be sent to registrants only.
