Join Museum Education staff in the galleries for a private tour of the Newport Art Museum’s new exhibitions and professional development workshop. This workshop is the second of two winter educator workshops that will focus on a selection of current exhibition and permanent collection artworks in a variety of media, demonstrations of artwork – related hands on projects, and object-based learning strategies for the classroom. Especially designed for K-12 educators, this workshop is an opportunity to engage with colleagues, enhance your practice, sample art making activities, and experience how inspiring an art museum tour can be for young minds.
Each winter workshop will feature separate content, so sign up for one, or both!
FREE. Space is limited.
