Teaching Artist: Maureen Kennedy-Antonellis

Discover the beauty and versatility of watercolor and pastel in this beginner-friendly class. Students will spend the first three weeks exploring watercolor, learning essential techniques such as brush control, color mixing, layering, washes, and creating texture through guided exercises and simple painting projects. The second three weeks will shift to pastel, where students will learn foundational techniques for blending, layering, color mixing, and creating texture while exploring the unique qualities of the medium.

This class is designed to build confidence, encourage experimentation, and give students a strong foundation in both watercolor and pastel as they continue their artistic journey.
