“Song Fest!” featuring the Choral Collective of Newport County

Celebrating Spring and Song!

The Newport Art Museum is thrilled to host “Song Fest” and the long awaited return of live choral performances featuring all of the programs of the Choral Collective of Newport County. The Newport County Youth Chorus Prep Chorus will present songs they learned in the “Music From Around the World” and “Broadway Show Tunes” sessions. The Middle School Ensemble and the Aquidneck Singers will sing songs they have learned throughout this year, performing together for the first time since January 2020. Audience members will hear music of different styles and in different languages and also enjoy familiar songs such as “It’s Only a Paper Moon” and “A-tisket, A-tasket”.

RSVP is highly recommended as seating is limited.
A suggested admission donation of $20/person, $40/family will be payable at the door.

**NOTE: Masks MUST BE WORN by all audience members while in the performance space.**  

 

About the Newport Choral Collective

The Choral Collective of Newport County was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit oganization in August 2019. CCNC was founded by Elizabeth Woodhouse and includes the Newport County Youth Chorus, an after-school community youth chorus program for students in grades 2 through 8, and the Aquidneck Singers, a teen and adult women’s chorus.

The Choral Collective of Newport County aims to provide opportunities for youth and adults to discover the joy and power of singing in community with others.
