Join us for our first ever College Night, designed by the students at Salve Regina University!
Calling all college students to a celebratory night of art, music, and poetry. Spend the evening exploring the Museum’s 16 + galleries, munching holiday snacks and drinks, and playing art-based games and scavenger hunts. Other highlights include a live jazz band performance by The Donnie Aikins Trio, a slam poetry set, and stargazing through telescopes.
Bring your creativity and prepare to play!
CALL & RESPONSE
Create a poem in response to artwork in the galleries by rearranging our word tiles – make it silly or sincere, epic or haiku – so long as it’s original!
EYE SPY
Go a-hunting through the galleries with our Eye Spy cards, spot the right work and answer the clue to earn a sweet treat!
OVERSIZED PICTIONARY
Team up at an easel and get down to business. We’ve tossed out the game board to focus on skill and speed. Sweet treats for the winners of each round.
FORGET MEME NOT
Match a popular song lyric or quote with an artwork on view in our meme-making game. Post on social media using @newportartmuseum so we can laugh with you!
