Artist Day at the International Tennis Hall of Fame
Create at the International Tennis Hall of Fame with artist Robert Manice!
June 6, 2026 10:00 am - 12:00 pm International Tennis Hall of Fame
We invite artists to join us at the International Tennis Hall of Fame for a plein air session led by award-winning artist Robert Manice. Known for his abilities in watercolor and oil painting, Manice’s work can be found in collections across the United States and Europe. At its opening in 1880, the Tennis Hall of Fame was a social club for Newport’s Gilded Age summer elite, and continues to be an iconic venue for tennis players as a stunning historical building, drawing in artists and athletes alike.
Artist Days are informal art-making sessions organized by the Museum and hosted by community artists. Please note that these are not formal classes, but an opportunity for artists to engage and create together leading up to Wet Paint.
Parking: The International Tennis Hall of Fame does not have a public parking lot. Street parking is available, but be sure to check signs for restricted areas. We encourage participating artists to utilize the Newport Art Museum lots and walk to THOF.
Artists must provide their own materials. All mediums are welcome! Attending an Artist Day is not required to participate in Wet Paint- we gladly welcome all donations!
Artists attending this event must be 18+.
