Imago: the power of a mental image

December 17, 2019 – January 9, 2020

This exhibition featured twenty-four students from the Community College of Rhode Island enrolled in Fine Arts Seminar, the capstone course for the Associate of Fine Arts degree. In this course students explored careers in the fields of art and design, design and install exhibitions, identified visual arts grants and awards, and developed a cohesive portfolio of their work which demonstrated their level of excellence. For the group exhibition Imago, each artist selected an image which serves as an Imago, or powerful mental image.
