Beginner's Watercolor
Discover the beauty and versatility of watercolor in this beginner-friendly class. Students will learn essential watercolor techniques, including brush control, color mixing, layering, washes, and creating texture, while gaining confidence through guided exercises and simple painting projects. Along the way, you'll explore the unique qualities of watercolor and develop the foundational skills needed to continue your artistic journey.

Location and Parking
Newport Art Museum School camps are held in the Museum's School located at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
