Join The Nest and the Newport Art Museum for Community Mending Circle, a monthly gathering dedicated to repairing, refreshing, and extending the life of your favorite clothes. Bring your socks with holes, missing buttons, ripped denim, stained tees, or well-loved sweaters and learn simple hand-mending techniques in a welcoming community setting.
Hosted by fiber artist and expert mender Keelin Maloney, this casual accountability-style craft circle is open to all skill levels, with supplies provided and plenty of creative problem-solving along the way. Meets monthly on the third Wednesday of the month from 5–7pm starting June 17th.
Location and Parking
Mending Circle will be held on the Griswold Lawn at 76 Bellevue Avenue. Please park in our Museum parking lots or along Liberty Street.
