Welcome to Museum Reads, the Newport Art Museum’s Art-Themed book group for adults. It’s the same beloved Read/Eat/Chat book group format, with a fresh name. Join us!
Based on 30 years of research, frequent visits and conversations with the artist, his family and friends, this is the only book about the man and the artist that gets behind his carefully guarded screen, tells the full story of his life, and reveals his complex personality and the motivations for his paintings.
Book group this month will meet at the Museum if the weather cooperates, or delivered virtually on Zoom if it doesn’t.
