Homeschool Family Guided Tour
May 13, 2022 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join us for a guided tour and art project!
This is the second of 2 identical sessions featuring a guided tour and related art project based on the sculptures in our galleries, permanent collection and on the grounds. Join us!
Especially designed for the homeschool community, this guided tour is perfect for families to enjoy together. We’ll visit a curated selection of artworks in the permanent collection and changing exhibitions. Close looking with our Museum Docents will generate lively all-ages discussion, intuiting, and sharing of interpretations, and then we’ll consider the artist’s possible intentions and historical context of the work.
Following the tour we’ll gather for an instructor-led art-making activity inspired by the work on view.
Come explore the Museum with us!
