Make Your Own Ring: Jewelry Workshop (SOLD OUT)
October 18, 2026 - October 18, 2026
1 sessions
Sunday 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Teaching Artist:
Julia Sullivan
Ages 16+
Learn the process of wax carving and create a ring of your own design. We’ll begin with jeweler’s wax and use simple hand tools to carve, shape, and refine it into a finished ring. No prior jewelry-making experience is necessary—the workshop is designed to be approachable for beginners while leaving plenty of room for individual ideas and experimentation.
After the workshop, Julia will cast each finished wax ring in sterling silver and complete the final finishing in her Providence studio.
About the Teaching Artist: Julia Sullivan is a Providence-based jeweler and RISD alum working in sculptural metal forms. Her practice centers on hand-carved wax processes and jewelry designed for long-term wear. Through her studio, RA HA, she creates sculptural jewelry, wedding bands, and custom heirloom pieces alongside teaching wax-carving workshops.
