High School Drawing & Painting Intensive

July 19, 2021 - July 22, 2021

4 days

Monday - Thursday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Taught by Lauren Gueli

Ages 13-16

This studio experience explores traditional drawing and painting techniques in combination with contemporary processes. Students will be drawing from life, and will learn to understand proportion, value, perspective, and composition. Along with observational drawing and painting, students will develop their personal voice and subject matter through an exploration of contemporary painting and drawing processes. With a strong conceptual foundation and improved observational drawing skills, students will begin to build a strong portfolio of work.
