Join us for a morning of Mindful Movement in the Galleries!
Inspired by the ethereal abstract work of artist Sheila Isham, whose work is now on view in Sheila Isham: Between Worlds, come reinvigorate your creative spirit through accessible movements and light exercise.
We will be offering TWO WORKSHOPS:
Creative Movement for Kids
10-10:30AM
Children ages 3+ will be lead through thoughtful movement curated by dancer, founder of Revka Dance and teacher of mindfulness and music at St. Michael’s Country Day School, Revka Hovermale . Children *must* be accompanied by an adult and the program will run about 30 minutes.

Dance For All People (DAPpers) Workshop
11-11:45AM/12PM
Curious about the art/medicine connection? Join founder of DAPpers, Rachel Balaban, for an accessible dance and movement workshop. Twist and stretch in the gallery and take in the abstract work of Sheila Isham.
Dance for All People (DAPpers) is a multigenerational dance class designed for people with movement challenges and ageing bodies based in Providence. DAPpers believes in the power of all people to find vitality, creativity and joy within our own bodies. DAPpers celebrates each other as we are and fosters growth through dance, music, and dialogue in a welcoming community that encourages people of all ages, abilities, and identities to flourish.
