En Plein Air Painting for Mother’s Day at Prescott Farm

Spend the afternoon discovering the magic of the Newport Restoration Foundation’s Prescott Farm in Middletown. The Newport Art Museum will be on site with all the supplies you’ll need to try your hand at painting this glorious RI gem en plein air (in the fresh air). While you’re there, climb inside the historic windmill and explore the gardens with URI’s Master Gardeners, all while you hunt for the perfect vistas to paint. Newport Art Museum art educators will lead drop in watercolor technique tutorials, and who knows? You might create the perfect gifts to honor all the Mother figures in your life.
