Building Strong Forms

May 20, 2026 - June 24, 2026

6 sessions

Wednesday 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Teaching Artist: Charlene Carpenzano

This 6 week intermediate ceramics class is designed for students ready to deepen both their handbuilding and wheel skills while developing more personal, thoughtful work. Every other week, students will receive a new prompt or focused demonstration to spark ideas, followed by a class dedicated to explore, problem-solve, and build independently.

The class encourages experimentation with form, surface, and function while giving students space to strengthen their own artistic voice. Week 5 will focus on glazing techniques and surface finishes, and Week 6 will include a supportive group critique along with time to complete any unfinished glazing.
