Pressed With Love: Block Printing Workshop

Teaching Artist: Betty Maloof

Explore the art of block printing in this creative, hands-on workshop! You’ll carve a couple of simple designs into soft, easy-to-carve rubber blocks, then ink and print your designs onto 5" X 7" print suitable for framing. And print on a make up bag!

This workshop is open to all experience levels. No prior printmaking knowledge is needed. All materials will be provided.

Come ready to experiment, create, and leave with your own unique, hand-printed pieces!

Newport Art Museum classes are held in the Museum School at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies, at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
