In this expressive acrylic painting class, you will explore the dynamic and versatile nature of acrylics. Designed for beginners, this course invites you to unleash your creativity while learning essential painting skills.

Over six weeks, you’ll master techniques such as blending, layering, texture creation, and color mixing. Each session includes guided exercises and ample time for personal exploration, allowing you to experiment freely with your ideas and style.

Focusing on intuition and spontaneity, you’ll be encouraged to let your imagination flow, creating unique pieces that reflect your vision. All supplies are included, so come ready to paint and let your creativity shine!

Location and Parking

Newport Art Museum School camps are held in the Museum's School located at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
