Beyond The Basics: Watercolor and Pastels

This class is designed for students who have a basic understanding of watercolor and pastel painting and are ready to deepen and refine their skills. We will strengthen foundational techniques while expanding into more advanced approaches to color mixing, layering, blending, and texture development. Students will also explore composition and contrast, gaining greater control, confidence, and expressive range in both mediums.

Location and Parking
Newport Art Museum School camps are held in the Museum's School located at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
