This pottery class is designed for adults with intermediate skills, emphasizing essential hand-building techniques. We’ll focus on advanced methods like coiling, slab construction, and surface decoration, while also integrating some potter’s wheel techniques for a well-rounded experience.
Students will enjoy studio hours equal to class time to practice and enhance their skills.
Please note, there will be no class on Thanksgiving Day, November 28.
Location and Parking
Newport Art Museum classes are held in the Museum School at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies, at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
Financial Aid
