Springboard: Members’ Juried Exhibition

Springboard invites Museum members to look at history not as something fixed, but as a living source of inspiration for today. Artists are asked to explore cultural inheritance, artistic lineage, and collective memory—whether by honoring tradition, questioning it, or reimagining it entirely. Selected works will be hung alongside highlights from the Museum’s permanent collection.

The exhibition will be juried by Julie Keyes, founder and principal of Keyes Art, a premier global art consultancy in Sag Harbor, N.Y., with more than 30 years of expertise in the contemporary art world. Known for her discerning eye and deep knowledge of the art market, Keyes has guided private collectors, corporations, and cultural institutions in acquiring and presenting significant works of art. With a career spanning blue-chip galleries and emerging artist platforms, Keyes brings a unique perspective as both an advocate for rising talent and a trusted advisor to established collectors.

“Springboard invites artists to put their best foot forward. In conversation with the Museum’s permanent collection, the exhibition encourages artists to reflect on the past as they consider their own practice more critically and with greater ambition,” said Keyes. Keyes’ role as juror for Springboard underscores the Museum’s commitment to connecting regional artists with voices of national and international significance.

Call to Artists
The Museum welcomes submissions from all current members, at every membership level. Artists may submit between one and five works that have been created within the past two years and are professionally presented and ready for exhibition. Submissions should demonstrate originality, technical excellence, and a clear relationship to the Springboard theme.

Important Dates

Deadline for entries: November 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

Notifications: December 15, 2025

Artwork delivery: January 11–13, 2026

Exhibition: January 22 – May 31, 2026

Opening Reception: January 22 5 – 7 PM

VIP Preview: 5–6 PM | Public Reception 6–7:30 PM

Eligibility Criteria

Membership: Open to current Museum members

Experience: At least 3 – 5 years of exhibiting experience

Submissions: Each artist may submit 1 – 5 works
