Stephen Mol: Children of the Gods

The Museum School Mini-Exhibition series aims to provide insight into the creative process by highlighting emerging contemporary and Outsider artists in a quarterly series of art exhibitions.

Stephen Mol, a resident artist at Outsider Collective at Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, is a worldbuilder engaged in the creation of a personal mythology. His complex, colorful illustrations depict events which exist in the realm of the imagination, centering around the adventures of a Valkyrie and a Chicken-headed warrior as they quest throughout the cosmos. The Newport Art Museum School is honored to feature select illustrations from this epic work-in-progress.
