Pilates at the Museum 2
January 10, 2024 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm Griswold House
Join us for another relaxing and refreshing round of Yoga inspired Pilates at Newport Art Museum! After a fantastic first class, FLOW Pilates owner and Instructor, Jen Raby, is returning for a January session. This time, she’ll be joined by Allison Schumann, an International Wellness Facilitator and Spiritual Mentor, who will guide us through a sound bath meditation. Did you know that sound is one of the most powerful and effective ways to decompress? Allison’s practice will bring us to a place of full body listening where we can re-pattern our cells, our minds, and perhaps the more subtle body of emotions, resting in harmony with ourselves and nature. After the 45-minute session, we encourage you to stay, mingle, enjoy a class wine, and take in the sights of our newest exhibitions. All levels welcome and no Pilates experience necessary! This session will take place in the Museum’s Historic Griswold House.
