Our Saturday program for kids ages 6 - 10 and their caregivers

Join us on select Saturdays for engaging family-oriented programming designed to inspire young minds and satisfy the curiosity of every member of the family. Each Wake + Create is uniquely curated based on a theme, includes a Guided Close Looking Tour of works in the galleries, followed by engaging art making activities geared for ages 6-10, their families and caregivers. Wake + Create is generously supported by the Hartfield Foundation. Tickets are free with the cost of admission.
This month, join art educator Lisa May to tour our new exhibition Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney: Sculpture. Students will learn how Whitney created her sculptures by observing live figure models. Then, head back to the art studio and create your own figurine out of clay!
