Bradley Schools

For almost two decades, Newport Art Museum has partnered with the Bradley Schools to inspire creativity in young minds while fostering positive social and emotional skills that reach beyond the classroom. Through the visual arts, our instructors help students become comfortable taking risks, learn from their mistakes, and build resilience in the face of adversity. In addition to making artwork in response to the Museum’s permanent collection and rotating exhibitions, students may create an installation at their school or create ceramic bowls in the Newport Art Museum School’s ceramic studio for donation to the Rhode Island Food Bank’s annual “Night of Empty Bowls” fundraiser.

After School Arts Enrichment Programs

Newport Art Museum and its team of after school instructors are proud partners of after school programs such as Child Opportunity Zones (COZ) in Pell Elementary School, Forest Avenue Elementary School, Joseph H. Gaudet Middle School, and Aquidneck Elementary School.
