Thursday Night Throwing

June 26, 2025 - August 21, 2025

8 sessions

Thursday 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Teaching Artist: Corrinn Jusell

Take your ceramics practice to the next level with this dynamic, eight-week course designed for students with foundational wheel-throwing experience. Building on essential techniques, this class will deepen your skills in centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing, while introducing more complex forms such as lidded vessels, altered shapes, and sets.

You’ll refine your studio habits, gain greater control over form and proportion, and explore surface treatments that enhance both function and aesthetics. Emphasis will be placed on personal expression, consistency in craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving. With individualized feedback in a collaborative studio environment, this course is ideal for students ready to move beyond the basics and expand their creative potential on the wheel.
