Colorful Creations
Ages: 5-8

Dive into the world of colors! Campers will mix their own colors, paint, draw, and more as they explore the magic of the rainbow. Through hands-on, process-based art, young artists will discover how color can bring their masterpieces to life. This hands-on, process-based art experience will inspire young artists to see color as a powerful tool for expression, bringing their creations to life in dynamic and exciting ways.

About Teaching Artist:

Jenna DeAngelis is a painter who grew up in the East Bay and is currently based out of Warren Rhode Island. Her work is heavily influenced by the natural world as she searches for familiar shapes and potential narrative. She believes art is for everyone and enjoys incorporating process based art making and material exploration within her teaching.

Location and Parking

Newport Art Museum classes are held in the Museum School at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies, at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
