Art in the Wild
Ages: 9-12
Venture into the wild world of nature through art! Campers will venture outside to sketch and paint landscapes, plants and more. They’ll use different mediums and explore how to bring nature into their artwork through texture, color, and creative techniques.
About the teaching artist:
Jenna DeAngelis is a painter who grew up in the East Bay and is currently based out of Warren Rhode Island. Her work is heavily influenced by the natural world as she searches for familiar shapes and potential narrative. She believes art is for everyone and enjoys incorporating process based art making and material exploration within her teaching.

Location and Parking
Newport Art Museum classes are held in the Museum School at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies, at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
