In this class, students will build essential drawing skills to bring their creative ideas to life on paper. You’ll explore core techniques like line, mark making, form, value, and composition, using materials such as graphite, charcoal, and ink. Through direct observation of still-life setups, students will learn how to translate what they see into art—a skill applicable to painting, watercolor, printmaking, and digital media. While the focus is on observational studies, you’ll also have the freedom to work with personal content and explore adding color to your pieces. All supplies included.
