Allie Elia
In this 6-week in-depth, intro course we will explore various watercolor surface studies to learn the possibilities of color blending and compositional design for effective painting. Various watercolor techniques will be taught to encourage newfound confidence in watercolor media and the development of each student’s unique creative voice. Projects include opportunities to paint from still-life, observation of the landscape and studio space, and photo references (family photos, pet pics, etc. depending on each student’s interests). Whether you’re joining a painting course for the first time or refreshing the skills you’ve learned before beginning a lifetime of watercolor art, this course will light up your way! Please note this class is Adults only.
