Matthew Robert Cooper, known by his stage name Eluvium, is an American composer and musician celebrated for his expansive and emotionally resonant ambient music. Born in Tennessee and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Cooper now resides in Portland, Oregon. His work spans genres including ambient, drone, minimalism, experimental, electronic, and classical music. He has contributed music to various film and television projects. His compositions have been featured in works for HBO, Showtime, Universal, and Apple TV+, as well as in Sundance award-winning films .
