Teaching Artist: Keelin Maloney

Learn the basics art of crochet, including essential stitches like chain, single crochet, and double crochet. Perfect for beginners, this class will guide you through creating simple projects like scarves or dishcloths in a friendly, supportive environment. All materials provided.

Please note this class is designed for ages 16+.

About Teaching Artist:

Keelin is a Providence native and textile lover! She has a background in hand knitting, machine knitting, weaving and natural dyeing. Her years in fine art school have lead her to create knit collections and participate in local sustainable fashion projects.

Location and parking

Newport Art Museum classes are held in the Museum School at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies, at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots or on Liberty Street.
