Upcoming Exhibitions

Complex Terrain(s)

For centuries, artists have rendered the landscape as a means to celebrate, idealize, and connect our human experience to the natural environment. This exhibition brings together landscapes intended to evoke the ethereal and divine, and features a range of media including painting, drawing, printmaking, video, photography, and sculpture.

Andy Warhol: Big Shot

Warhol is well known for his appropriation of other people’s photographs, from the portraits to the press photographs that he reproduced and repeated in silkscreens and paintings, but he was also an avid photographer himself.

This exhibition focuses on Andy Warhol’s photographic work, specifically his Polaroids.

Celebrating Youth Art Month

As part of the month-long celebration of student artists, over 100 pieces of student art works from 9 schools across RI are on display in the Newport Art Museum School's Community Gallery. Enjoy this virtual tour, led by Museum Education Manager Sierra Conniff.
