Newport Annual Artwork Drop-Off

A highly anticipated event, the Newport Art Museum’s Juried Annual exhibition showcases an eclectic and exciting selection of art created in all media by artists from Rhode Island and beyond. Featuring work made in the past two years, this show illustrates the diverse approaches of regional contemporary artists. Submissions are open to established and emerging artists alike. This year, the exhibition will be on display in the Museum’s historic Griswold House. This year’s jurors are Dr. Helen Burnham, the Pamela and Peter Voss Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Dr. Leora Maltz-Leca, Chair, Department of Theory & History of Art & Design, RISD and Curator of Contemporary Projects at the Redwood Library & Athenaeum.
