The Art of Sgraffito with Peggy Twist
October 10, 2026 - October 10, 2026
1 Session
Saturday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Teaching Artist:
Peg Twist
Join us for a hands-on introduction to sgraffito, an expressive clay surface-decoration technique using layered colored slips and carving.
The workshop begins with a one-hour demonstration and Q&A, followed by two hours of hands-on exploration. Students will experiment with sgraffito techniques on a premade leather-hard clay tile, exploring mark-making, pattern, and design.
Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to expand their ceramic surface-decoration skills.
