Teaching Artist:
Betty Maloof
In this two-session handbuilding workshop, we’ll create functional pottery pieces such as ring dishes, coasters, trivets, plates, napkin rings, soap dishes, vases, and more. The choice is yours!
During the first session, we’ll build our pieces using slabs of clay and add texture and design by imprinting them with stencils, stamps, fabric, and found objects.
In the second session, we’ll glaze our work, selecting from a wide variety of beautiful pottery glazes to finish each piece.
This workshop is suitable for all levels.
