Collage and Monotypes (Register by March 1)

In this class we will explore the many ways that the monotype lends itself to collage. We will spend the first two days printing on a variety of surfaces and the last day incorporating the monotypes into a series of collages. The class will looks at the many artists that incorporated monotypes and collage into their work.
Supplies to Bring
Rags or paper towels
Paint brushes, palette knives, or any other tools to make marks with
Printmaking paper (any art supply store will be able to advise)
Location and Parking
Newport Art Museum School classes are held in the Coleman Center, located at 26 Liberty Street. Please park in our museum parking lots.
