Hooray for Puppetry!

July 18, 2022 - July 22, 2022

5 days

Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Taught by Erica Connolly

Ages 6-8

Students will become puppeteers as they learn how to create their own characters using everyday materials and classic techniques. Through the magical art of puppetry, we will explore many types of puppets, including finger, spoon, hand, stick, box and shadow puppets, along with crankies and toy theaters, a form of miniature theater dating back to the early 19th century in Europe. Let the fun begin!
