Our six-week program for homeschooled children ages 7 – 12 includes a wide range of creative processes drawing from our permanent collection and special exhibitions. Participants will enjoy a blend of gallery visits and studio activities where they will experiment with materials and processes old and new. Our rotating exhibitions will provide an ongoing source of inspiration that will enrich their artistic growth.

Homeschool for ages 7 – 12 is a drop-off program that is offered on Mondays and Tuesdays. 

About the Instructor
Merary Rodriguez has a BA in Graphic Design and Darkroom Photography from URI. She’s worked as a substitute teacher, camp counselor, and youth worker. Merary also freelances as a photographer and body paint artist and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She won an award from the museum as a kid, and has joined the Museum’s Education team in 2019.

Location and Parking
Our School is located at 26 Liberty Street. Museum School students and visitors may park in the museum lots in front and back of Griswold house, or on Liberty Street. Cars parked in the other lots risk being ticketed.
