September 12, 2022 - October 10, 2022
Mondays 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
In this 5-week course we will explore various watercolor techniques by creating a series of works inspired by fun and colorful still lifes of everyday objects, flowers, and fruit. Students will practice developing their skills in things such as brush control, color mixing, developing value contrast, and paint wetness. We will spend the first 15-30 minutes of each class giving special attention to smaller compositional sketches before creating more completed works. Each student will be given individualized feedback and are encouraged to bring their own creative flair to their artworks and suggestions for still life content!
