Providence Art-Lover's Bus Trip

Newport, RI: Art-lovers can explore a few of Providence's notable art and historical attractions on a day-trip with the Newport Art Museum on May 5. Participants will receive a guided tour of "Pat Steir: Drawing Out of Line" and "American Art from the Permanent Collection" at the Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, then enjoy lunch at the Providence Art Club followed by a tour with the Club's President. Last stop is a tour of the Rhode Island Historical Society's John Brown House.

The bus leaves the Newport Art Museum at 9:15 am and returns at 5 pm. Lunch is included in the fee. Museum members $75; non-members $85. To register call (401) 848-2787.
